If I would like to support children but don't have my teaching license yet, can I still apply to be a content leader?
YES! We have many experts in music, art, dyslexia, math and numeracy expertise, speech, physical education, leadership, their particular industry and more that are leaders in their industry who have much to share with students as COMMUNITY PRESENTERS under the purview of our CONTENT LEADERS, or experts and educators can choose to apply to be paid to be a CONTENT LEADER or CONTENT LEADER ASSISTANT.
What are the benefits of joining the Homeschool Hybrid Learning Center Classes?
The Wave of Hope Hybrid Homeschool Learning Center classes two days a week offers a blend of traditional school structure and the flexibility of homeschooling, providing students with both academic rigor and personalized learning experiences while all content is supported by our mission and vision statements in collaboration with what parents want. Each student/family meets with our staff to do an academic, learning style and strengths-based inventory in order to support parents in what they would like to see their children focus on most.
With tailored curriculum that centers on the learner’s needs that is classical and homeschool in nature and increased socialization opportunities, working in small groups, students receive far more individualized attention for success. Whether it’s engaging presentations, project-based learning or hands-on activities, we want Attendees to enjoy high quality, fun and creative opportunities that are also learning opportunities that focus on the family, on character and on encouragement that creates a life-long love of learning.
And when our COMMUNITY PRESENTERS show our learners all of the possible life opportunities that await our children as they grow in their unique interests and abilities, they begin to dream and imagine a bright future filled with possibilities.
If my child attends public and private school, can I pay to have them attend the Learning Lab/Tutoring Sessions?
Yes they can! Our Learning Labs allow our Learning Center Students, our Enrichment Attendees AND public/private school students who have a day off from their schools to use the facilities to work on projects with guidance or receive individualized support in whatever curriculum or academic skills they are currently needing.
Can I join the FREE Wave of Hope Enrichment Program AND still choose to pay the Wave of Hope Homeschool Learning Centers @ Weld or @Berthoud for the Learning Center Classes and Learning Labs/Tutoring?
Yes! If a child comes to the Learning Center two days a week and is also in our Enrichment Program, they still fall under the threshold of the number of hours that would allow for your child or children to still be considered homeschooled.
If I’m a member of the community and I’d like to share how I run my business or show Learners about my job or career, or what a day in the life of my work looks like, how can I do that?
